What wax are your candles made from?

Our candles are made with a blend of apricot, soy, coconut, and a minuscule amount of highly refined food-grade paraffin wax. This blend is clean-burning, biodegradable, and natural. Vegan, gluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and comes from renewable sources. The entire blend utilizes only FDA-approved waxes.

Why wooden wicks?

They create a light crackling sound while burning. They burn more evenly and cleanly than cotton wicks. Wood wick candles make less soot than conventional wicks.

How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to 5mm tall before every burn to keep the wax clean and burning nicely. When you receive your candle, it will be cut to the correct size, so there is no need to trim it before the first burn. Allow the candle to melt to the vessel's edge, preventing future tunneling. Avoid excessive burn times; no more than 4 hours is recommended. Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects and drafts. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
